Gravitational Lensing

     

I am the lead developer of MicroLIA, a machine-learning framework for early detection of gravitational microlensing events in sparsely sampled wide-field survey data. The framework is accompanied by a simulation engine (MicroLIA_Sim) which can be used to conduct multi-band lightcurve simulations of various microlensing events (e.g., binary lenses, free-floating-planets) and common variable star and transient contaminants. The program has developed significantly since this first publication, an updated manuscript detailing the latest software features is coming soon.
